Weekend marriage retreats cover common problem areas like communication, conflict resolution, developing unity, and learning to grow to be the husband and wife God has called you to be. They take place in a group setting with several other couples.

A Mariage ICU © is a retreat designed to help couples who are struggling with issues like communication, blending a family, trust, understanding roles and responsibilities, financial issues, adultery, possible divorce, and more. Couples will meet one-on-one with their counselors. They can also be done by Zoom and include follow-up sessions by Zoom, if needed.

Even couples who are very much in love, seem to communicate well, and agree on most things during courtship, often find there are unexpected conflicts that arise during the first year of marriage.

Many of these issues can be anticipated and worked through long before couples say “I do.” It’s also important to understand God’s purposes for marriage.

By God’s grace, we have had the privilege of hearing many success stories. Marriages that appeared to be heading for divorce have been saved and changed, even when adultery had taken place. Couples have come back months or years after their wedding and shared how premarital counseling made all the difference. Other marriages have been strengthened through their attendance at a conference or retreat. A number of marriages where divorce had taken place have been restored and those couples have been remarried.
